Len Roland, a lacrosse standout at Cornell and former NJILOA official in the 70s and 80s, was the consummate professional and great teacher of the game.
Following Len’s passing, the NJILOA created the “Len Roland Sportmanship Award” in his honor, an award given to a coach and or coaching staff that best emulates Len’s professionalism, sportsmanship and honor of the game of lacrosse, as displayed during the course of the current season.
