Early in the game one of two officials sustains an injury preventing him from continuing . Other official is A, a veteran , or B, a newer official and this is a varsity game. Do you continue game with one official if both coaches agree ?

Attachman A1 is going to the goal and gets pushed by defender B1 (flag down). A1 lands in the crease before ball goes into the goal. Shouldn't the goal be waved off since you can't score a goal with an offensive player in the crease?

Goalie out of crease : D-Man goes into crease but stands next to the pipe - not in front of the goal -and A, his stick hangs in front of the goal or B, his stick does not protrube in front of the goal. What is the call if any ? The other team has the ball or the other team does not have the ball.
Goalie again out of the crease : D-Man goes behind in the crease and straddles the back of the net . Does it matter who has the ball if a call is indeed called for being in the crease ?

At the faceoff to start the 2nd quarter both A1 & B1 arrive at the center X for faceoff with sticks that do not have contrasting tape or contrasting shaft color.

Ruling: Technical Foul: delay of game on both A 1 & B1. Use Alternate Possession to award for free clear at center X. Both A1 and B1 do not serve penalty time, both stay in game since sticks are legal for play other then faceoff.

Is this ruling correct?

In our game yesterday my partner ruled that the faceoff man's stick was not legal. His stick had a black head and a silver shaft but no tape. I contended that the shaft was off contrasting color to the head, making the stick legal. At halftime we had a conference with the coaches. My partner then stated that the player had black gloves and provided him, in his opinion an unfair advantage. We had the player add white tape to the shaft. Was he correct ?

If one team elects to "concede" faceoff to minimize face breaks, are there any rules violations?

A1 shoots and goalie makes save but the ball is deflected onto the outside of the net. No one knows where the ball is except A2 who is behind the net. The ball is sitting there for several seconds until A2 reaches in from the rear , jostles the net and retrieves the ball. B coach claims the official should have whistled it dead right away and , of course. give it to the Defense. Question : just how long do you wait until you blow it dead ?

How many equipment inspections may a coach request during a game? If no violations are found how is the team requesting the inspection penalized?

Today I officiated a game and 94% of the team did not have a manufactured butt-end on the stick. Are these still required at the high school level? Is tape sufficient?
